FAIZ’S PUNJABI POEM

Ghalib and Iqbal’s great poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz (1911-1984) is world-renowned in Urdu poetry for his progressive commitment. It is said that where the fragrance of flowers as well as fire can be seen is the poetry of Faiz. It will come as a surprise to the Punjabi reader that Faiz has also written some poems in Punjabi.
