DES DOABA

The “mountain” is not the “moon” in itself (for the people of the mountainous region the “mountain life” is the best life), only the moon is for those who have their own “doaba”. Almost all the songs in the book Des Doaba are sung by women and most of them are related to weddings or the life of the in-laws of the girl Doaba – and in her life the exodus of the land of Babylon is fully present. (Dr. Kesar)
